The Carroll Ladt Scholarship fund was established several years ago in memory of Carroll Ladt. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships to anyone desiring to go through the Leadership Paducah program and to continue their leadership experience with Leadership West Kentucky and Leadership Kentucky. The Board of Directors of Leadership Paducah Foundation have established a set of guidelines for awarding these scholarships so that this fund will always be available for future classes.
Our first goal was to get the fund up to $5,000. With a $250 donation from class 16 at their graduation and a generous donation of $450 by Leslie McKinney of Occunet the Carroll Ladt Scholarship Fund reached this important first goal! This money will never be used so that the fund will never be depleted. Our next goal is to reach $10,000. During this time we may begin using the interest off the money if the board chooses. At this time we are just over $6,400 in the fund. After we reach the $10,000 mark, all the interested and additional money raised will be used for scholarships.
